Depends if it had a warranty. Also, If the car broke down before 30 days from the purchase date, the lemon law may apply depending on the the laws in your state. If not, you are pretty much stuck with the car. If a warranty applies, the person who sold you the car must make the repairs.

Arbitration is usually "fairer" than court because in court the outcome can depend somewhat on how good a lawyer you can afford.

Don't you have "lemon laws" in Alabama? If your "new car" has never worked right, I think they have to give you another, or your money back...

(Don't buy new cars...the minute you drive them off the lot they become "used cars" and lose 20% of their value!)

Call customer service. What they can do depends on the trouble you have had. If you filed with BBB and got nothing, I would take whatever customer service cna give you because the BBB is much more strict.

If you are having problems with you car and the dealer is not repairing it to your satisfaction, you can take to another dealer, or call the GM zone office, they will help you, their pay and their jobs depend on it, because you car is with in the warrant period you will receive a card from General motors, be sure to answer it, the rate the dealer can charge is based on how well he/she does in satisfying the customer

the lemon law says that the dealer has 30 days to fix the problem, if you want to take this to court and win you need to bring it to the dealer for them to repair your problem, when you go to pick it up make sure you test drive it. if the problem is there do not take your car but pretend your gonna, make sure you go and pick up your receipt, when they ask you to sign. take the receipt and wright that the repair is not fixed and sign it, the dealer uses this in court. if the judge or jury see this and it last for 30 days and still is not fixed you win. no questions,

Keep complaining if you aren't happy with it!

It's a tricky situation! Obviously GM doesn't want to buy your vehicle back.
But the squeaky wheel gets the grease in the car business, and I'm not talking about a lube job!

Take it back to the dealership, and get my money back, then go to the Toyota or Nissan Dealership and buy a new truck.

If it required going to court I'd go to court with it.

Take it to the dealership's service dept. It should still be under warranty.
