See. I am trying to build a family tree and I thought maybe I can use Microsoft word to do it. To make it in a computer and not have the hassle of buying posterboard paper. Makes tings easier. So is that possible or not? If it is, how do you do it?

Not recommended, as later when you need to add branches in the middle of your tree, you will see how painful or impossible it can be, use a family tree software for your task instead.

There is an awesome FREE application that is available on the Web called, "Geni" for building out your family tree. I would recommend trying that first.

1. Try geni at http://www.geni.com

2. If that does not work, you can always download free Word templates @ http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/default.aspx

Good Luck!
