I'd be more worried about the chickens gettin stressed and not layin, when the cat is sittin reading: 1000 things to do with chicken!

i don't think so, but it all depends on the cat. i used to have a cat and kittens while having a chicken at the same time. Mystique never bothered them,n neither did her kittens. Mystique was actually scared of Scooter, the hen. Her kittens followed her lead, n never messed w/Scooter. Scooter was free range the whole time we had her, too.

Even if your cat doesn't mind, there's no such thing as free eggs. You still have to feed the chickens and the chicken feed isn't free.

I have two friends in a decent sized city that keep both chickens and cats.Everyone in the houses seem to be happy.
