Do you do anything special during the blue moon or is it just another Esbat/Full Moon rite for you?
(and for those who assume anything about my question, check my profile before you do)

Well for this blue moon I will be in Indiana at Trothmoot. I don't know if they will do anything special there or not.
I wanted to hold my Handfasting on the blue moon but, that meant I couldn't have my son there. I decided that it was more important to have him there so, I had it over the week-end.
)o( Blessed Be!

There is a blue moon and its this month. The blue moon occurs when there are two full moons in one month. (for the poster who said there was no such thing.)
For me personally blue moons are more important than full moons. I usually do my workings during the dark moon. Blue is the only one I would celebrate.
Yes, I am a Witch and a Pagan. (Not to be confused with a Wiccan.)

I follow a pre-astrolatry form of Wicca, so I don't do anything on regular full moons, let alone full moons that occur twice in the same month (blue moons.)
I've never understood why those that have lunar astrolatry in their practice would celebrate a blue moon-there is no such thing, by definition, in a lunar calendar....only in a solar calendar the moon is squeezed into.

Personally, it's just another esbat... But any time you feel you need to do something special, go ahead... even if it doesn't coincide with a certain time of the year. :o)

If I have time for it, I like to make a special dinner, and with blue and white sphere shaped candles for decoration, and spend some time to think about what might be a good ritual to do, it depends, sometimes I don't have time for that, more often than not, I like to do some "crafting" during a full moon to celebrate, things like making candles or a special project for the household or what have you..... I have a piece of selenite waiting for me to make a wand of it, it might be a good time to make time for a special project like that.....

No such a thing as a blue moon. Checked your profile...you need to get interested in psychology to understand why your statements are the way they are, and why you are wrong. Cos you are. But your not going to do that, because you are gonna deny what I said...it's a mental defense mechanism. It protects your ego from the truth, when the truth goes against your beliefs.
Good luck with all that.

I just fly around on my broom and make magic potions with my awesome witches brew.
BTW - I read your profile and it doesn't do anything for me other than the fact that you never knew Jesus in a personal and intimate way.
