Do you really believe such an omnipotent Creator would really send people to a place with fire and brimstone just because some human made a stupid "you must believe rule". The true gift all mankind has is the free choice not to believe. Anyone who really thinks that God or a higher power or Allah, or Buddha, etc. would be so shallow and vain, to demand such behaviour...........please, that is soooooooooooo humane. Relax, go with your heart, that always leads us in the right direction. .

God has provided plenty of evidence for His existence which includes putting the knowledge of HImself in every human being so that the whole world will have no excuse not to believe in Him. Romans 1:19-20
Since this question has been answered so many times in the last month you may want to research out the rest through the answers given on YA. You might also read Psalms 19 in the Bible that makes it clear that God is very visible in creation and there is no speech or language that doesn't hear Him speak to them through His creation.
As far as Atheists go - there are no true atheists because the evidence of God is written in them whether they choose to deny it or not. So we come back to the old argument that has been around YA for a long time - Can an Atheist prove there is no God? The answer is obviously NO.
So your premise is shaky all around.

Let me tell you what God says about you. God said He created you. God said that you are without excuse not to believe in Him. God said, the heavens declare His glory. God said that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. God says nothing is made that is made without Him. God said, "I am God and there is no other." God said, "I am life, I am the way, I am the Truth."
If you can't believe anything and evidently you can't, then study the prophecy of the Bible and see how much came true and how much is still coming true shortly. You are wrong about the billions tormented in hell. God will send an angel flying through the heavens declaring the gospel before the Great and Terrible Day of the Wrath of God. When you see this you will have no excuse not to believe in God, but you will be going through a time of tribulation like the earth has never seen and will never see again. Terrible times are coming before the day of the Lord.
If you knew the Bible, you would know that no man could write such a book without the inspiration of a Superior Being. You prefer to live in sin and not to explore the ways of the Lord.

THis is a complex issue that has puzzled the Church for centuries - from my own analysis, the existence of God is based solely on Faith. He was once a cruel and unforgiving God, who sent his only begotten Son to die upon a cross for our sins - so now he's a forgiving God.
I'm an atheist. I can however tell you that, it's your own choice whether to believe or not - an example of God given free will. The KJB states that The One True God created man (and women) to hold dominion over all of the animals that creep and crawl upon the earth.
With regard to planet-wide managment, the question you might reflect upon is 'how are we doing, so far?' Once you've figured out an answer to that, you'll probably spot how, in this blame culture, that we don't readily accept personal responsibility and thereby seek to blame somone else for our personal failings - it might as well be a divine being who may or may not exist
Just my own personal opinion

dont u think that u r a living "evidence" that a God is there ??? and yeah he created hell so non believers would go there and he also created brains to think with them , if u were born is some culture that shaped ur view u have brains to think whats right and whats wrong . and examples for that are the people who convert thier religion .. they did so cause they used thier brains and started thinking about if i am in the right religion or not ... God doesnt play around ...he gave u the freedom to what u want in ur life , he gave u the freedom to choose ur way ..he just judge u and ur choises at the end

You have got to be kidding me! Read the bible for once in your life. Are you saying that the God that gave his one and only Son to die for the people that crucified Jesus and caused him soo much pain and everyone else is not loving? He gave is Son for god's sake to make sure that everyone who believes in him will go to heaven. if he didnt do that we would never be forgiven and we will all go to hell even those who do believe. God does love us. Its not his fault that people choose not to believe in him. He gives us free will. Who do you think created us and the universe fot that matter. Certainly not a stupid astriod or meteor and humans did not come from monkeys!!Thats evidence right there. If God wasnt real why the heck would people put their precious time in creating the Bible if it wasnt real? Hello!!! Common sense!!If you still have doubt read the Bible. And if people need living and breathing prove that there is a God then they are screwed and stupid. There is living prove all around us. Dont be like Thomas who doubted that Jesus was resurrected before he saw Him.

I don't know how much proof a person needs; stars that stay up in the sky, the moon and its phases, all of nature, animals, our bodies.
Being born into the wrong culture is not much of an argument. My parents were of one religion, and I became a Christian. My husband's parents weren't religious and never went to church. He's a Christian.
If you were God, and made people, and those people didn't believe in your existance or want to follow you, where would you send them?

If you are asking for further, clearer evidence, that would reduce the faith required. Jesus performed countless miracles, yet the vast majority of people did not believe in Him. If God performed miracles today like He did in the past, the same result would occur. People would be amazed and would believe in God for a short time. That faith would be shallow and would disappear the moment something unexpected or frightening occurred. A faith based on miracles is not a mature faith.

Hi there!
Perhaps what i'll tell u will surprise u...
Nowhere in the bible is there mention of a tormenting hell where ppl go after they die...
The old testament mentions the hades, which is the common grave :). I bet ur surprised.
And as far as souls going to hell to be tormented, that's what happened to christianity when it got corrupted by other cultures and pagan beliefs.

If you need evidence , you are not a believer, you are a scientist. God does not require much for the life He gave you . the fact, that you can breathe everyday, is evidence that He is.
Look at the sky and you will see more evidence. Read the book of Job ,the 38th chapter. That will wake you up !!!
