no hummers are not to blame for high gas prices and neither is any other low-mileage vehicles. I believe the gas prices are to blamed on the government and the war. In case you haven't noticed look at the oil prices. They're still the same prices and they haven't risen even when the gas rose. If you don't like the gas price buy a motorcycle. They get the best gas mileage a vehicle can get.

Well, the H2 gets about 8-10mpg which isn't exactly the best mileage, but the new H3 gets in excess of 20mpg about double and is comprable to other suv's in it's size class. There aren't a lot of H2's out there, so I don't think you can blame them for anything. The prices are high because the demand for petroleum products is up and will continue to increase until a cheap replacement for petroleum products is found. There is sufficient supplies of oil but the refining capacities of the refineries is not able to meet the demand.
Personally, I'd demand that the environmentalists be kicked completely out of the issue alltogether. Then build a bunch of new refineries and update the existing refineries to meet the current demand.

The US government is to blame for high gas prices, because they get huge kickbacks from fuel companies. Hummers do get terrible gas mileage, but that's not the reason for the high prices. I'd rather drive my truck or my car, I would never own a hummer. But the environmentalists and OPEC are also to blame as the environmentalists keep stopping drilling efforts in our own country, and OPEC well they're just greedy SOB's.

It's not the fat hogs!
It's the fat cats in control of the oil companies that all posted record profits last year who are to blame!

This is a rediculous question. First of all you can't weed out one individual make or model of car.Second of all if you don't like the recent rise in gas prices then get your fat butt on a bike and pedal to McDonalds instead of driving 3 blocks. You could even walk there, tubby!

gas prices are so high because of the demand. EVERY vehicle that gets lousy gas mileage drives up the demand.
That means Hummers, SUVs, minivans, pick-up trucks, and high performance cars.

YES! Just like pencils make people misspell words. To all the people who drive Hummers-you should be ashamed of yourselves for making the gas prices high-it is a conspiracy!!

Overseas oil is produced for about two dollars a barrel. In the US it's about fourteen dollars a barrel, but we're paying sixty-five for it. Gas prices are so high because we'll pay for it.
