My boss really likes me and has asked me out for breakfast and for beers in the past. He has a really bad reputation because he has a tendency to say things without tact. He is several years older than me, married without children and often complains about his wife. He is drop-dead gorgeous and knows it, but he's everyone's definition of a total ---. Strangely, I find that I have a soft spot for him, and when he's asked, I have given him lifts when his wife finished too late to pick him up. Recently, our conversations got too personal and he started flirting a lot. I complained about it and he got upset and gave me a real hard time at work for a while. Now he's re-started! I have a great boyfriend, and yet I find that this horrible boss is always on my mind. I think about him all the time and it's driving me insane, because I think I'm more scared than attracted--he's always staring at me so intensely and it makes me nervous. I feel like Little Red Riding hood. What should I do?

Keep a journal of all the times he flirts with you, the things he says, and the things he does. Times, dates, locations, everything. So that way if you have to go to HIS supervisor to stop the harassment, you'll have something in writing to back up your claims. But this is just a last resort. First go to him and explain to him that you like him as a boss, and maybe as a friend at the most, but nothing more. But if he gets on your case again then go to HIS boss and file a sexual harassment claim.

Let him know you don't mess with married men and you currently have a boy friend. He is a player. They talk bad of their wives as an excuse to lore other women.
Stay at a distance except for work. Control ourself or get in more than you can handle.

He's unhappy in his marriage and wants temporary respite with you. Considering you work for him, that's TWO reasons not to go in that direction. Talk to him about what you want. Tell him you only like him as a boss and you want him to be happy.

Talk to him first...Put your foot down on whole thing....if he doesn't listen and continues or starts giving you hard time at work again...look for another job....also if he continues with his remarks and makes you uncomfortable its sexual harrasment and its illegal.... Good Luck....and do try to avoid him when possible ...
