WHY do people keep believing illegal immigrants do not pay taxes?

They pay income tax , social security tax (removed from their paycheck every week), FICA tax and sales tax. When the buy a gallon of milk or a loaf of bread they are paying taxes.

And when they go to the hospital they surely get billed and have to pay. they CANNOT apply for Medicare or medicaid, and no illegal has a right to claim wellfare.

If the immigrants were not needed they would not be here. Pure economics, Supply and Demand.!!

So what seems to be the big problem, if the govt knew they were such a "threat" they would "kick them out". The US certainly has the money and resources.

First of all I do not live in a fantasy world , I am an educated person with a bachelors degree in business and speak purely from experience of many people around me. That I can verify pay taxes.
When you check in at a hospital they ask for ID, You cannot lie. Please get REAL. Sorry to see many haters out there.

By the way alot of immigrants do have their ITN number and pay taxes .

Do you know that the Social Security administration knows which numbers are fake and still collect taxes on them???

Most of them are fake not stolen. But the tax is being paid.

the only thing i can come out is that they ignore than they actually do pay taxes , they just do not want to accept than they actually pay taxes or they just don't like them so will keep up their lies about this simple fact ...

yes they do pay taxes and they in fact contribute around 7 to 8 billions in taxes to the American economy which they obviously do not claim because they are afraid of deportation ...

the sad thign about this is that the number of billion dollars whihc they have contributed in taxes is prety similar to what we all Americans had spent in the wrongfully planned war in Iraq ( 560 billions in Iraq and 540 billion which they have contributed in the secret stash ) ..

it is also important to mention just like u said that they do in fact pay many other taxes and that their near to 1 trillion dollars does produces so many jobs which obviously would not be there if it wasn't for them ...

so much for they do not pay when they in fact do :D

How can an illegal immigrant possibly pay taxes. To work and pay taxes you have to have a social insurance number, to get one you have to prove your identity using your passport and birth certificate. Illegal immigrants can't present this information to the authorities since it would show that they have no valid right to be in the country. The only way they can work is by using false identities or by working for someone who doesn't pay takes and do the paper work on his employees.

You are right. Most Americans wine and complain that they have to pay for the illegal immigrants to stay here, they believe that an illegal can get welfare from the government and apply for other government benefits, but they cant. They have to pay taxes, and those taxes help the USA out. But people choose to be ignorant and believe that they are the ones that are paying for the illegals to stay.

People keep perpetuating this idea to have a "reason" to attack illegal immigrants, of course they pay taxes because you can't get a job unless you provide a ss number. And they file their income taxes in case one day they become legalized to prove they have been abiding by the laws, plus the IRS doesn not care if you are here illegally because they provide ITIN numbers to be able to file taxes if you don't have a valid ss number. Illegal immigrants don't go to hospitals because they are scared to get deported, instead they go to medicine people in their communities to take care of medical needs. I agree with you totally!

Yea, using someone'd social security number isn't paying taxes....if you have secured a tax number from the IRS you should know your employer is keeping the money since you dont have a Social Secuirty number. So you are either illegal or not. WE THE PEOPLE of the United States don't get a dime. Simple fact is it cost a hell of alot more to keep an illegal in this county than they contribute......simple economics. We don't need you!

Because most of them get paid under the table. It is illegal to hire someone who is an illegal immigrant. So businesses are afraid to pay them with checks which can be traced.

Ok, if immigrants are getting real paper checks then you are right, taxes are taken out... but most, from what I have personaly seen get paid under the table cash... no taxes. And whenever illegals go to the hospital they go to the ER's and have to be seen by a doctor then they just provide the wrong name and are "charged" but how do you charge someone who gives the wrong name. Your other "arguments" are just crazy... how could you take 12 million people out of a country when you cannot find the terrorists in Iraq?

Show me one, just one illegal alien 1040 tax return.. I want to see where they paid FICA, SS taxes, medicare, equity lines and out of state purchases, if applicable.. I guarantee that you can't.. but I further guarantee that you will have an excuse as to why you can't show me one.

If you are illegal in this country, and paying taxes because you receive a REAL paycheck, something is fishy! You have to have a social security number to pay taxes! If you are not a citizen you do not have a social security number! DUH! And as far as your milk and bread...I would stop shopping at your grocery store.... There is no tax on food items.
