I think some people LOVE it when the pot is stirred up. Esp. when it comes to belief or lack of belief. As a Christian, however, I don't think it is right to argue about Christ. I think this kind of back and forth between non-believers and believers is damaging to the Christian faith and puts it down. I think non believers don't realize that Christ is part of who Christians are. When you knock Christ -- you are knocking me - my person and becomes a direct hit. It would be like a Christian purposely attacking "your person" you - not just your lack of belief. It hurts. We love our God even if others don't. I don't see why some of you have not sensitivity to that.

Hmm its true you humans like to start something and argue about it and you think that the answer you provide will slove it or is correct, in hope you get someone or a group to undertsnad were you come from or were your point of mind is but in reality nothing gets done and ends up into conflict which both or all sides end up worse then when they started.

Human nature, of course, but you miss the real reason. No one wants to be thought of as stupid and so each time we inter-act, most of us are out to prove that we are smarter then the other person.

This is easy to prove if you listen well to other people, and especially those you have just met. Try this little test if you can keep it in mind the next time you meet someone, count, or at least, take notice of the times they say "I", I this, and I that. You will also notice just how self-righteous most people are.
Which, of course, is the main reason for most arguments anyway. ( you can see this on here all the time )

I like to debate style argue, but not yell, though I'm not as adverse to yelling with the anonymity of the interweb.

I look at is as trying to get people to actually think about what they purport to believe in.

Sadly, it happens far less than I'd like.
