Some childhood nostalgia here..
When I was young - I'd estimate around 7 or 8 (and I'm 18 now) I was watching Power Rangers and there was a monster. As far as I recall it was during the Might Morphin era and the villian was in a two part episode.
Anyway, it was a massive monster that wouldn't die and eventually one of the Rangers went into its stomach and there was a mushroom-like creature inside who he proceeded to kill.
So, my question: who was the monster? Or have I just completely dreamt up a childhood experience? lol

That monster that you are thinking of was a bird creature called the Hatchasarus, the thing inside was Cardotron, the heart of the monster, the episode was BIRDS OF A FEATHER, Jason Lee Scott used the Dragon Dagger and the Power Sword to destroy this heart, then they used the Ultra Zord to destroy the monster.

Yey! Power Rangers! Sorry thats not much help but i'm around the same age as you and i remember the power rangers too. I liked Tommy best he was cool

well, i don't know the answer to your question but i would suggest that you tune into Jetix cos all those Mighty Morphin episodes are playing again. you could re-live your childhood!
