wrong, the child is of the age of accountability. Perhaps bad parenting, something bad in school, one does not know.

Not an act of God. We are created with free will and choose whether to live God's way or our own. Yet, God knew full well that the child would grow up and become so violent. He knows the destiny of every person born - from Billy Graham to Sadam Hussein. But, He also knows how it will all fit together and, in the end, bring all to the knowledge of Him.

I think we have to seperate the ideas of an act of God from what God permits.

No, the child killed someone not God. God gave us all free will and it would have been an act of the child that caused the death not God.

Nonsense. Humans have free will,however conditioned. Blaming God for human evil is a cop out(unless you are a Calvinist or some sort of fatalist,but then there goes God as Good)

I don't think so - God gives that child free will to do what is right or wrong. Everyone is free to follow or turn away from Him. A person who kills has turned away from God

That is the craziest quote I have ever read ~ God made it so we all have free will ~ just because we choose to go against Him and sin that is not his fault ~ in fact he loved us so much he saved us from our sins on the cross ~ it is not his fault we still feel like we need to go out and do everything against His will!

Is it an act of God when YOU kill somebody? You're somebody's child, too.

So if you feel you're not in control of yourself when you choose to murder someone, than yes, it's an act of God. I... er... certainly hope you don't think that's the case. =_=;;

surely god has nothing to do with anything, but surely if the child is below the age of consent its the parents who must take the blame
