I have been tempted by things that I know in my heart are wrong, but in the flesh would feel so fine. Is God testing my judgement?

Ah, ok, other people have already said that God isn't tempting you/testing you. That's good.

Let me just add this: You don't know how good you are capable of being, until you're given the opportunity to be bad. I hope that makes sense. It's like a man who says he's faithful to his wife. He's never cheated on her. But if the only reason he's never cheated is because he's never had the chance, then he can't REALLY say he's faithful. It's only when he's had the opportunity and turned it down, then he can say, "I AM Faithful." Every chance to do wrong is also an opportunity to show your character. Hope that helps.

Peace to you.

The Bible says that God does not allow us to be tempted above what we are able to handle. That says to me that God does not tempt us. Most people say it's Satan that does the tempting, but either way, God will help you through any tough temptation if you allow Him to.

I don't think God tests people with temptation. I think things just happen and you get tempted.

God does not tempt anyone, however He does allow Satan to tempt you as shown in the Book of Job.

Additionally He allowed Satan to tempt Christ. (Matt 4-1)

James 1:13-14 - "Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth He any man; BUT every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed."

No need for God to test. He knows the answer in our hearts.
