My school website, they're offering a version of Microsoft office for $13.80 [Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 Suite (Student Select) - Media]!! Is this actually possible? I would like to purchase it, but am afraid there is some sort of catch.

I think it should be valid, we got a letter from our school that offered us discounted Microsoft products since we were students.

IF that is like that that is just the software you may try looking here at http://academicsuperstore.com/ is a discount store for students and sells office pro for $169 with the license. It also sells others. The site just needs a prove that you are a student.
