It depends on what you call "ordinary."
There are a few people who don't consider Mormons "ordinary" Christians because we don't believe in some parts of the Nicene Creed, particularly that God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are all one in substance. We believe they are separate beings.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints aka Mormons does believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ and in following His teachings.
Here is a quote from the Church's official web site:
Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son of God the Father in the flesh. He was the Creator, He is our Savior, and He will be our Judge. Under the direction of our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ created the earth. Through His suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane and by giving His life on the cross—that is, by performing the Atonement—Jesus Christ saves us from our sins as we follow Him. Through His Resurrection, Jesus Christ saves us from physical death. Because He overcame death, we will all be given the gift of resurrection.

Mormons believe that they can become gods and goddesses, NO christian theology or church I knwo believes this (maybe pagan belief), christian don't have a temle, they believe they are their bodies are the temple of God, mormons believe they need a temple to do secret squirl stuff in, christians put on the full (invisible) armor of God, mormon put on garment. christians do not know what the mark of cain was, mormons claim it was the black skin and thats were black people come from was from cain. ect.
