My boyfriend ran a virus scan and deleted a trojan but now the software that plays his music is not working and or partially deleted. How can this be fixed without having to by all new software? Creative Sound Blast for Live 24bit is the name of it by the way

re-install the cd its the only way..or go to system restore and go back a few days

you must have norton...lol, it has a way of removing Trojans and deleting functional files...... you should be able to do a "system restore", at the start key function open up programs, expand accessories, expand system tools, open system restore, then restore to an ealier point....pick a day or restore point prior to your boyfriends virus scan...hopefully this will help you out....

If he paid for the software, he should be able to reistall it with the CDs or whatever that he purchased.
