Any objective person who looks at the alleged lost tomb of Jesus, who looks at the so-called scientific evidence, and the miscontrued statistical evidence, will come to the conclusion that it is indeed false. Have you ever lost a loved one and attended their funeral? Do you remember where there grave, or place of rest is located? Please read on. Jesus was crucified, and buried in Jerusalem. Jerusalem is also the same place where Christ was preached. Surely, EVERYBODY, the disciples, his enemies, and the Roman guard, knew where his tomb was. Why for three years, he was the most controversial and talked about person in all of Palestine. If one healed people and raised the dead in your town, they would no doubt be the topic of many conversations. Those against the apostles could not refute their claims because they couldn't go to the tomb and say,"There's the tomb, the rock is still covering the entrance, and there is no body." Why don't we still know where Jesus' tomb is?

Why don't we know where the Arc of the Covenant is? Moses's grave perhaps? A thousand other religious items etc? Because God does not want us to worship anything else, make idols out of things. He wants us to worship him with love and FAITH. We do not need objects, graves, gordes etc. : )

We DO know where the tomb is. Here's how:
When Hadrian became Roman emperor in about 117 A.D., he started to persecute the Christians heavily almost immediately. One of the first things he did was try to prevent Christian pilgrims from gathering in two different sites: One was an empty tomb in Jerusalem, and the other was a cave in Bethlehem. So, over the two sites, he erected pagan temples.
Fast forward two hundred years. When Constantine became Roman emperor, he sent his mother Helena to find these very important sites. She did, and she had churches built over them.
Fast forward another nearly seventeen hundred years. Archaeologists working in Jerusalem and Bethlehem uncovered two 4th century church ruins. Underneath those were two ruins of what had been 2nd century pagan temples. Under those were an empty tomb and a cave.
Though it's debated (see below) whether or not this is THE tomb, it's the one most widely accepted as being Jesus's tomb.
The site in Jerusalem receives MANY visitors every year.

As for the debate, the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem is also a likely candidate.

You just have to make up your own mind. Which site did the earliest Christian pilgrims gather at? That's how you know. And even WITHOUT these facts, the New Testament does date back to the first century. Those who were alive at the time had also been alive during Jesus's ministry. If the writers of the New Testament had been lying, Christianity would never have spread, because they would have been called out for it.

If I understand you correctly, you do know where his tomb is - under the dome of the rock which will someday be removed by God in his time and in his way. There is no body because Jesus was resurrected and then ascended into heaven. He left the Holy Spirit as our comforter, convictor, guider and will intervene for us when we just don't know what to pray for. We aren't supposed to know everything, this is where faith comes into the picture. Read Hebrews 11 and 12 and the faith of all the men of old , what they had to do just on faith as christ had not been born or died during the OT days. If we are taken which I believe we will be, when Christ returns then we may not see what happenens with that dome but there sure will be some amazed people around.

the only place that people have been looking for his tomb and body was any place that was marked JESUS or had his family name. Jesus was a very popular name back then and Jesus was not the son of Joseph, so He was not buried in the family tomb. Also, He ascended into Heaven body AND soul....so you would never be able to find his body. Jesus' body was put in a family friend's tomb, which wasnt known to the romans. So it was kind of a secret between Jesus, His followers, and Mary

1. He only spent three nights in it.
2. Since He rose from the dead, and they saw Him, they wouldn't have placed very much importance in His tomb.
3. As they preached the resurrection, they were persecuted and dispersed around Asia Minor and Europe. They didn't have much time for tomb-keeping or tomb-worship.
4. The Jews rarely made a big thing of tombs. A very few exceptions.

We can't find Jesus' tomb because the story of Jesus was told many years after his death. All we know Jesus was not his real name or he was buried under a different name or Jesus was only a made up character. There was no God's hand involved because there was never a God almighty. Primitive man witnessed aliens and the generation created a false religion worshiping technological advanced being as Gods.
There is so much data out to this fact if you just take the time to do the research.

This structure preserves the location of Christ's tomb. Though the cave here was carved away by a Muslim ruler 1000 years ago, a clear history remains that this has been the revered location of the tomb. Al-Hakim's efforts to destroy the tomb (and Christianity) in 1009 were not the first. (Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem).

And on the third day, the angels said to the women at the tomb, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here but has risen."

Because the tomb is empty and no longer important. The Resurrection is the important fact.
