No we are not born believers in God nor are we born as athiests . We must make choices using our free will to decide whether we accept or reject God in our lives. The choice must be free because if it is not free the belief is not real as well.Love without freedom is not love at all.

as you already asked, are children born believing in santa? of course not. god and santa has to be taught.
BUT, with that said, religion was invented by adults who needed to explain the unexplainable. every culture in history has had some sort of higher power theory, or religion, to make life less scary. the more intelligent we as humans become, the less of a need we have in religion

I think we'd all be born agnostic, as we don't know. Of course, male babies are turned into believers or atheists moments after birth, what with the snippity snip done against our will.

I doubt very much that newborn infants believe much of anything, let alone concepts about deities.
By the definition of atheism (no beliefs in god/s), all newborns are atheists, until they are taught to believe otherwise.

There is something that is called Fetra (inherent nature ) found in every human , something which can't be microscpically seen just as the word mind . It is through Fetra that you feel that there is a supreme power , it is the hidden call inherent in the self ,it is up to you to follow it or discard it ; to follow it you must use your mind which God deemed it as the highest of the human organs . Though who disbelief disregard this .

I think left to thier own devices they would probably seek out something. We have the need to believe in something bigger then ourselves even if its science. But born believing in it? No.

Children believe in what their parents tell them. Do you believe in the tooth fairy, Easter Bunny, Santa Clause or the boogeyman?

My daughter is four. We have never brought the subject up before. You should have seen how she looked at us when we tried to explain what a church was for when she asked.
We are born atheists.
