The Question is about the Sex-Change of the Pregnant Woman & NOT the child. Pl. get this clear.

Let's not Don the Robe of the Law-Giver and wield his Gavel. & Talk in Final tone.

Let's be Humble & think about & tell what would be the Divine Dispensation.

Who is anyone to tell God what He will or will not do? Has God done strange things in the past? Absolutely! Is there anything to stop God from doing what He wants to do? Absolutely not!

God's answers are wiser than any of our prayers could ever be. If God wanted to change the sex of a pregnant woman, He is able to, and I believe He could have a valid reason that He doesn't have to share with anyone.

Would God grant her prayer? That's for Him to decide. But we, who pray to God, aren't to ask something so ridiculous. If she has a valid reason (I could never think of one), then God is able to answer "yes" if He wanted to.

If God changed every woman who wished she were a man because being pregnant can make a womean miserable at times then there would be no women. So the answer is NO. God made her a woman for a reason, She can only wait and know that pregnancy doe not last forever and if she wants no more children then she can have her tubes tied after she has the baby. The only way to have a sex change is to be operated on. I hope she doesn't want to get that done as I've heard of botched up surgeries. Tell her to be patient, and pray for wisdom in all of her decision making.

There are some people that think that if they pray hard enough, or stand on certain promises in scripture that they can pray for what they want and get it. This goes directly against the idea that God is sovereign.

God created the heavens and earth. He has chosen to give all of us life and even placed us where we are with the talents and gifts we have. Somehow, we sometimes get the idea that we can request certain things of Him and He should be obligated to answer according to what we want.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding...", says Proverbs 3:5. Our understanding is limited and God is omniscient (all knowing). We can be praying for something which is not according to His divine will.

I know that God answers prayer. I know that He does perform miracles. But, I also know that He is God and that I should really seek Him for His will. He knows exactly what He is doing - for our own good as well as those around us and mankind at large. He truly does have the whole world in His hands.

I dont think he would do it because he created that women 4 a reason. if she prays to be a man then it would be like she wanted to rewrite God's divine plan. And, I'm not sure but wouldn't she be killing a baby if she changed to a man. She would be preventing the child from being born. Murder is a sin.

The Bible states that God answers prayers that are according to His will. If he created this person to be a woman, then he obviously wanted her to be a woman, he would not have her become a man. Hope that helps. God is never in a dilemma, he knows what has already happened with this woman, and what will happen. He is omniscent!

I think your disregard of science is absurd. (I am an atheist. Now, discussion of religion is a whole 'nother can of beans, and I am not inclined to discuss it in this particular question. Suffice to say that I do not appreciate any attempts to coerce me to change the fact that I do not think there is any sort of deity at all.)

A person's sex can only change by sex reassignment surgery.

I agree with Steve N. The purpose of praying to God is to praise, worship, revere Him, and to ask how He can make us more holy, more loving, like Jesus. When we ask for things we want, it is our flesh/humanity talking. I don't think He'll be receptive to those carnal desires. He'll be more receptive to needs that align with becoming more pure, holy, according to His Will.

When in doubt, seek the Holy Spirit to guide you and reveal to you what the Father's true plan for you is, in your walk with Him.

I can't be bothered to read through all the responses so this may have been said before: TRICK Question!

God answers EVERY prayer.

Sometimes the answer is "No".

no i would say that she would not have her request granted because the scriptures say that if you ask seek and pray for anything IN ACCORDENCE with Gods will he will grant it and we see no cases of where a sex change are in Gods will

Proverbs 2:3-6: "Yea, if you cry after knowledge, and lift up your voice for understanding...Then you shall understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom: out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding."
