Vista is debated to be copy of a Mac.
Search Feature:
Features like search-as-you-type in vista were already there with MAC Jaguar, which was released as earlier as 2002. Mac now has a much more powerful search feature called the Spotlight, which gives u results as u type.
User Interface:
Mac is known for its easy user interface and stunning looks(?). the dashboard (its a translucent layer application used to host mini applications called widgets ex. Weather, Clock) of a MAC, I heard is more or less copied in Vista.
Security:
Needless to say Mac has no viruses. Vista, as advertised is more secure than its predecessors. and as we all know, buying a microsoft product, u might have to find patches (a plug to shove the holes in a software) thru ur entire life :)
well, its upto to u to decide. Might seem like i have supported a MAC, but believe me, i have been a commited windows user for 8 years and switched over to a MAC. Now, my life is better.

I am not a mac fan at all, but if I have to choose between the two, I rather go with the mac.
