I know the answer you idiots. The point is, you are TOLD that Santa is real and you believed it as children. Guess what? Same thing applies with God. Some Christians are dumber than I thought possible.

They are taught to believe that jsut like the fable of God. I did let mine know that Mom loved them more than Santa did cuz I couldn't find a dang tickle me elmo and told them since Santa couldn't bring them one Mom would when they saw one in the store. Unfortunately I also told them the lie about God. Not sure if they will forgive me for that one like they did with Santa Claus.

Children believe what a parent or teacher, teaches them to believe. we have taught my granddaughter that while santa is fun, the real reason for christmas is to celebrate the birth of Christ. So my answer would be know, they are not born believing anything. It's what they are taught, what they learn from others when they are old enough to understand what to, what not to and what they decide they should believe in.

Yes, children are born believing in every myth and god that has ever been dreamt of by anyone in all history. Over time, they become atheists with respect to almost all gods, except the right one.

C'mon jelly - surely you're smarter than this.

Yes.

Didn't you know that? Didn't you get issued the manual to read in the crib after you were born?

The blue one for the boys, and the pink one for the girls? (Zats where the homosexuals come from, accidentally given the wrong book)

Oh, man, you weren't given the manual?

Oh, too bad. What did you do with all the teeth?

Hail Eris! All Hail Discordia!

No, of course not, but I would hate to miss those magic years when they do believe and see the look of joy on their faces on Christmas morning. Oh, I know you are making a point Jelly and I know what it is...it just does not matter to me.

Children learn from the environment the parents provided.

Same thing applies to God. Coincidence? *gasp*

I'm sorry, but this question makes absolutely no sense. How could you possibly come out of the womb contemplating the existence of a fat beared man in a red coat?
