You know, generally I'm a nice person and love to answer questions on here, but I'm really just frustrated to no end at the ignorance that I constantly see on YA R&S. Those that questions Islam and Muhammad, why don't you take the time to read the Quran? Why ask really stupid questions and not spend some time actually learning about that which you seemingly oppose so much? Is it because you are afraid to learn something new, or because you are afraid that it is true? Why do you constantly persist to read only the passages that speak about jihad, and not read the entire Quran? I don't get it!!

Mission, I truly pity you for not fully understanding the Quran and Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). You read it with hate in your heart, that much is obvious as I can see the spit fly from your mouth as you utter the word Islam. God bless your soul, and I hope someday you will see it for what it truly is and not for what your hateful heart has blackened in your mind.

When I hear all the untrue stuff that Islam believers say about Christ on these posts, I do not even bother with the Quran. I can not understand how an angel or a man can come down and deliver another gospel and you accept it. Especially when the Bible, which proceeds the Quran, warns of this:

Galations 1:8-9
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

What you need to understand is that people on Yahoo! Answers are not interested in Truth. They will not research the Quran, the Bible, the Book of Mormon, or even the truth of scientific fact. They simply ask questions in the hopes that someone will respond in such a way that their own view is supported. Essentially, YA is a place that gives willfully ignorant people a place to spout off in their ignorance.

I apologize to any seekers of Truth who are victims of this generalization. I know you are out there, and I know that we can learn from each other about many things, including religion and spirituality.

It's not just this category either. As I review questions through out various categories, I see questions that could be easily answered with a little research on the net.

We've created a lazy society where people rely on others to do everything for them in the easiest, fastest way possible.

Pass them by and find the ones that interest you, that's all you can do.

Because they like to repeat what they hear and just love conspiracy theories. Like:
People who think our own gov't blew up 3000 of our own people so we can have a war... C'mon!
People who think that all Islamists are terrorists... I've been to the middle east four times now and still think they are the most hospitable and friendy people on earth. They also have a great sense of humor.
Stop listening to people like Michael Moore who has never stepped foot in Iraq and the news who just want to create controversy to make profits. Find out for yourself!

If they studied, then they couldn't claim ignorance as the cause of their stupidity.

Reading the Quran would change the world for the good.

Most people in this life strive for comfort not truth. Comfort is their highest value.

To disrupt their worldview would involve facing some hard questions. Life is simpler if the outside world is labelled- even if it's inappropriately.

They're too frightened to believe that their are other religions out there and their religion is not the only religion out there. Sad but true. I myself am not judgemental of other people's religion. People are going to believe what they want.

blessed be

considering we don't want to take the time to read something we don't even believe in, or every religious book out there....we thought we could ask here for a quick answer.
