Yes!
Yaabro - even as Christians, believing that God created everything, we still have to look at science as good !
Take my children for example - I have never seen them grow - it is too slow a process to 'see' happen, but when I see the results over time, I know they have grown.
When we look at evolution, there are many solid scientific facts that back up parts of the theory - we need to look only to geology, carbon dating and fossils to see that!
But your right, we don't need to replace believing in God as the creator with believing in evolution either! There are many things within the theory of evolution that we do not know and faith in it is much less productive then faith in God!
Why don't we try balance belief in God with doing good science?
Peace be with you!

Hmm... that would be very hard since even the theory of evolution is just that a theory though one which has pretty good reasoning and evidence to back it.
First of all, you could abandon waiting for an evolution to happen in your lifetime. No matter how many generations of dogs and people you see chances are they will still belong to the same species dogs and human beings.
Though if you somehow managed to gain immortality you might actually see species evolved into another. Because evolution is gradual change within a population ( a large number of same species occupying the same location). A gradual process that takes centuries and even millenias to complete.
In theory, evolution happens due to the so called survival of the fittest in which organisms with the best possible trait to survive in that environment live on to pass their genes to their offspring. If this goes on after many generations you might get an organisms which is different from the one it originally started from.
For. ex. It is advantageous for some butterfly to have brown color. Due to this brown butterfly will survive and make more brown butterfly. Soon brown butterfly will become dominant and the natural color of a butterfly, resulting in a new species of butterfly which is colored brown.
Of course as you have stated earlier evolution though have evidence to backed it so it wont be proven false; it also lack sufficient evidence to be completely proven true without a doubt. So in a sense it is faith .. albeit a faith in which it is only the most logical looking explaination.
Oh if you wish to know some links http://evolution.berkeley.edu/ is most helpful. It contains all you need to know about evolution as well as proofs found by our scientist.

It's not a faith (though some Darwinists - vs. normal people who accept evolution as the best theory we have so far - do treat it like one).
It is simply a partially proven theory. We have proof that animals DO change over time, as do plants. We have proof that living things can be put in difficult situations and will change in response as a species (evolve). We have proof of mutation. We have proof that unusual species of a wide variety existed in the past and that there is a progression of changes in many species shown by the fossil record that reveals evolutionary change over time.
At the same time, until we can time travel, it isn't completely proven. Or until we have waited long enough for a species to change the same amount as primates have to get to man.
It would be silly to assume the theory is wrong just because you haven't personally seen it. Like saying the world is flat because you personally haven't seen that it is spherical (you've seen pictures, but pictures can be faked).
Now, leaving it open? Assuming that it is the best scientific theory available with the understanding that that may change with further evidence? Is that so hard? That's all scientists do.
Darwinists who use it as a club to attack religion are another group entirely! Kind of silly, aren't they. Science doesn't support their attacks. It is still possible God created it all. Science has no proof God didn't, and doesn't even address the issue (science is a tool, not a belief system).

Be careful with the way you phrase your question. God designed specific kinds of animals, and from those kinds arose different species. For instance, there was likely a canine kind, and the different kinds of dogs, wolves, coyotes, etc all arose from it. This isn't evolution, it's a loss of genetic information as animals became separated from each other. Evolutionists assert that new species arising is proof of evolution, however, they need to find new kinds of animals and new genetic information. This doesn't happen.

Does it bother anyone that believing in god is a faith?
Have you ever seen something being created? I haven't. I've seen people deny fact, but is just faith. Anyone have any links into creation assumptions from facts?

Thas because evolution happens over thousands of years smart head. And yes I watch evolution take place. Small toes are disapearing for instance, people in europe are small to fit in smaller houses. What are you brain washed child?

I have witnessed a species change into another.
Sorry, you're confused. Maybe you don't understand evolution enough to challenge it?

Anyone who cares: As an undergrad, I maintained the colonies of one of the fruit fly experiments similar to those described above and was there when the intra-infertile moment happened.

The flipper of a dolphin has five finger bones, but dolphins have no fingers. There are only two ways to reconcile this.
1) evolution
2) G-d made it that way
The first one is science and the second one is religion. You can accept which ever one you want but you cannot reject evolution outright unless you are prepared to reject all science.

Evolution occurs but there is no evidence that it is responsible for all the species on earth. It is only a theory.
Evolution also does not explain the first life form or the creation of the universe.

IF humans evolved then the evolution was random. Why if evolution is random did we all come out the SAME? If one painting is the same as another painting would you not agree they were created by the same artist? How then was man created ALL the same if evolution is random?
