who does god have to believe in . if he has only himself does that not make him somwhat egocentric then. and if thats so then having nothing to believe in and look to isnt that an empty existence

according to the bible.. i would think god IS egocentric.

it doesnt make him any more egocentric than us believing that we exist. We all have the potential to become God. God is within. It is about reaching that stage of enlightenment. It isnt in an egotistical way. It all depends on who you think God is and how you view God. If you see her/him as some far away thing dwelling in heaven and judging the dead, then yes, he is egotistical, but if you see God as love and nothing more nothing less than pure love than it is different.

When you are the creator there is no need to "believe" in yourself! He is not egocentric. He is loving, kind and just. He is all we could ever imagine and more than our minds could ever imagine!

Um, that would mean he was thinking positively. After all, who wants to hang around a guy who is omnipotent, but thinks he's a loser.

As I understand it, whatever judgement God makes is right and true. We are the one's who are deficient.
