That section is already taken by those wanting to talk about mythology and folklore! But your right, maybe R and S'ers should read up on their M and F!

Why just Christians? Why not Islam, Hinduism, etc?
Despite the large overlap, there is a describable difference between Mythology/Folklore and Religion. There are Christian mythologies and folklore, but there are also Christian theologies, i. e. claims (however much we may think them misguided) to special knowledge. The same with other Religions....
Mythology as a category (say in a book store) is usually ascribed to stories that are rarely believed to generate a coherent body of knowledge.
Now an interesting overlap would be those neo-pagan groups that purport to worship the old Norse gods or the old Greek gods. Would the discussion of them be most appropriate in Mythology & Folklore or in Religion & Spirituality?

Should that be discussed in this group? I do not see why not. If them? I think we can tolerate Christians.

There only isn't infrequently everyone left if each and every of the Christians and Atheists bypass away the R & S area! as nicely Christianity is classed as a "reiglion" no count in case you like it or no longer. Sorry.
