There had been a couple of cars that runs on water and i can't tell you which oil company bought it from this guy and the reason is economics. water is free and gas is not!

The proccess involved are electrolysis and combustion. It is quite simple, water is made up of two components, hydrogen and oxygen. Hydrogen is combustible and oxygen supports combustion, Ask your local fire department and they'll tell you that fire has three compnonents namely fuel, heat and oxygen.

In order to seperate the hydrogen and oxygen in water, you'll need electricity, electrolysis is the method of separating hydrogen and oxygen in water. Hydrogen is then fed into the cylinder chamber at the right proportion with oxygen to create the explosion, and you got sparks from your spark plugs to start the explosion.

And i had seen the car but only for a day or two and then it was gone and this took place in the Philippines and was even featured in a news show and I can give you a hint which Philippine news station. ABS - CBN channel 2 or GMA channel 7.

Goodluck if you want to find it and you probably can check with their websites, and maybe ask them about it, for sure they have it in their archives.

Another experimental, water bourn product that is promising in running a car is deuterium or dueterium.

Water is the result of combustion, so your question is like asking "Is there any car that runs on wood ash or rust?"
Unless you want to heat the water to make steam or decompose it with electricity to make hydrogen.
