i spotted a really large tree which leavesare simillar to hemp
so i just wanted to confirm cause i always thought the marijuana plant was a shrub

You found a big tree with obviously 'palmately compound' leaves. Look that term up, and use a simple key to the trees of your area to see what it might be.
I don't know where you live, but I'm guessing horse chestnut.
