This guy i like james he just broke up with his gf of three years a week ago and he came up to me and said he doesnt think we should do anything physical. but i sent him a text last night and he called me back and he said i dont mind haveing s** with you?

Well you have your answer in the question itself. If you are really interested in him, and you want to take this relationship further ahead and see yourself together for the rest of your life, then there are somethings which you should first find out and then think of going ahead with him. Like why did h break up with his GF, even though they were going around for 3 years. Also if you are looking for a committed types relationship with him you should ask his views on the future, etc. See when he said he does not want to do anything physical would mean he was trying to be a good guy, trying to show how nice he is, but when you send him a text and he replies saying that I dont mind having S** with you, implies that he wants to do it, and he was just trying to be a nice guy when he said i dont wanna do anything physical. You know i might be totally wrong, but i know how a usual male brain works.

He's obviously not looking to jump into a relationship after just getting out of one. It seems he may not want to sleep with you just for the sake of it by saying nothing physical. Give him time, if you like him enough, you'll wait.
