I have a phoenix on my back and I used this pic to show my tat artist and he just went from there... this website also tells you about the different tales of the phoenix which I used the Chinese phoenix

A few words of advise, though I have nothing against tattoo's, you should think before you act, because a tattoo, is something that wont go away and as you get older it will become distorted and will look ugly.
