i cant seem to get motivated i see hw much i weigh and it just depresses me even more my husband doesnt see how overweight i am, but he loves me no matter what. i need some tips and ideas to help get me started

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I feel the same way!!! 2 years ago i lost 30 lbs. I got on the scale today and gained back 5. It's so hard to get motivated and stay there. I'm gonna set up a goals and reward system. Like If I lose 5 lbs I'll go buy myself something nice that will make me feel good, like a pedicure, spray tan or lingerie. Also I bought some self tanning lotion and put it on yesterday, I already feel hotter, so imagine how I'll feel if I lose some weight. Set up a food diary too. Then you can see what your problem is, I did this and found out that I snack way to much!! When I stopped the diary I stopped losing weight cause I wasn't analyzing everything I placed in my mouth. It is ok if you try to lose weight, exercise and balance your diet. But don't make this the purpose of your life. You sound too anxious about your weight which doesn't sound too excessive (tough I don't know your height and bone density which matters in this case). Please take it easy. I'd focus in being healthier rather than thinner. If you feel like loosing some weight anyway, well, use something you enjoy on the way, jogging, biking, swimming, there are plenty of activities that burn calories and are fun and enjoyable. there are plenty of heathy recipes on the internet which are delicious... Pay a visit to your physician, use whatever makes sense, and ENJOY YOUR LIFE. If you use too much time and energy trying to look thinner rather than enjoying your time, well, that will be a waste of LIFE.

i weigh about the same i sympathize with you completely
just try to start walking more and getting out more try swimming also and try to stay away from fatty foods eat more salads etc thats what i am doing now to lose the weight as well also try to volunteer somewhere it will really help a lot with the depressions and with the weight also thats what i do i volunteer at a no kill animal shelter look for one like that where you live the animals will love you for it so much and you will feel so much better about yourself also hugs you will be in my prayers also

If you aren't happy with your weight, I suggest exercising. You don't need to go on a diet, just eat healthier foods. I recommend getting the Susan Powder: Burn Fat to Get Fit video tape. You can go your own pace with it.

watch what you eat but more importantly how much. I am not a big eater and I weigh 112 lbs.
