Has someone tried using a 220V US oven (running on two phases) in Europe on 230V 50Hz (1 phase)?

It should work fine, except for the parts of the oven that actually run on 110 like the clock, if they do. Technically, American 220 is not 2 phase as the "phases" are not out of line with each other, it is 220 1 phase with one measured with respect to the other. It is delivered as two 110-120 volt lines measured to ground 180 degree out of phase with each other.
