A lot more than are available OTC here in the UK. A wide variety of antibiotics can be purchased on the continent, most of which would be perscription only over here.

My husband always stocks up on his asthma medication (Ventolin) whilst abroad, he can buy it over the counter for about £2, as opposed to paying perscription charges for it over here.

Hi

You can buy a lot of medication over the counter in Spain.

I come from Sweden and there it is impossible to buy a prescription drug without a doctors prescription.

When I moved to Spain I was chocked when I found out that you can basically get anything here without a prescription. I found it very irresponsible and self medication is a BIG problem here.

Spain is also the European country when most antibiotics is consumed. Now the authorities are concerned about bacterias getting resistant. Even so, pharmacies keep selling it without prescription, even that it is not allowed.

What a very inane question. What would you like - a complete list?! If you had asked if it is possible to purchase a certain drug, then you would have received a sensible answer.
Basically, you would be able to buy most of the medications that you can buy in your own country. There are some, however, that you would be able to buy in Spain that you would not be able to buy in your own country.

As a general rule, slightly less then you can buy in the UK, simply because there is no shop like BOOTS or any big market for 'proprietory' medicines.
But you can get a number of antibiotics over the counter, which you can't get in the UK.
It's also easier to get steroid-based creams etc.
without knowing whether you have anything specific in mind, it's hard to say.

Pretty much the same ones that are available in the U.S., i.e., you would need a prescription for most of the ones you would need a prescription for here. Exceptions might be certain topical medications like antibiotic creams. Brand names may be slightly different because different companies may make the same products, i.e., sudafed, claritin, etc.

Quite a lot more than there are in the UK. But self-medicating is never sensible so get advice from your GP before you go.
