I am re-asking this questions in hopes people will understand that I am only asking a question....I am not trying to offend anyone...please read the article for yourself. Its from the white house web page. It is real. Do not get upset with me because your ignorance is so blind you would hand over your freedom for protection.

Now...what do you think about this? I have read it many times over trying to understand how this could happen. It gives bush great power over america if there were ever a "national emergency". Also there is no "end time". It does not say anything about congress and the senate resuming power or nothing like that.

Yes, it's for real and this has been happening 'gradually' for quite some time, and it is scary that so many people are unaware of it. Our TVs have been deceiving us indeed! In our society, we're constantly being conditioned to ignore our rights, and as a consequence, our rights are going away.

Scary quote by Bush: "Stop throwing the Constitution in my face! It’s just a g-ddamned piece of paper!"

Never. Get back to us when the next president is sworn in, Easy nancy. Bush didn't fly any planes into buildings on 9/11 Strike one He broke no laws while serving in the reserve; well proven during the last election Strike 2 Even if he were a coward; it's not illegal Strike 3..... YOU'RE OUTTA HERE.

N O, This is plans for a catastrophic disaster such as weather, another attack on the USA, Domestic or foreign insurrection, and is not a dictatorship!!!
This is exactly what this means: A NATIONAL
EMERGENCY, and ANY President, whoever it is would have to follow these guidelines!!!!!

Look at the date of implementation. This executive order was in response to his critics and the way he "failed" to handle Katrina. When the Democratic Governor of Louisiana refused to allow the Fed's into New Orleans until it was to late the people screamed at Bush. This action ensures that FEMA can never be kept out of a state again because of political partisanship.

I am a great supporter of the war, a democrat, and not liberal in any way.
I've checked the nature of this site. It is the genuine site, or the most complex fraud I have ever seen. I followed numerous links, connections, checked the source of the website, etc.
Seems genuine.
I haven't read the document. It is important that we read such documents (I will when I have more time).
I don't necessarily agree with the poster's assumption of what it means, but I intend to find out.
Is there a Republican (with as clear a record as mine - read my posts) who will confirm this document's veracity? It would help all of us.
Details about what it means from a lawyer or legislator with a known record of non-seditious behavior would also be welcome (just read their responses and questions).

I checked out further, and the date does indicate a response to Katrina and the complaints he received when denied access to the area.

I am MUCH relieved. I haven't seen much in President Bush to do anything but convince me that his ethics are still strong, but it NEVER hurts to double check, respectfully, without spreading false rumors.

Funny how people assumed it was fake without actually checking the source of the page. It IS the official White House web page!

Only Bush has the power to make the Soprano's
look like saints.
Yep, Bush is a monster, hell bent on destroying all that
that is sacred to America. The weird thing is that he
has no clue of damage he's really causing & no one is
stopping him.

Bush won't and can't go against the constitution. He, or nobody else will ever be a dictator here. Americans are not like some people of the world.

No, it's not for real.. and, of course, only a mindless idiot would get that impression from the link you've given.

No, it isn't. Do you honestly think that anyone, conservative, liberals, moderates, anyone would allow an actual dictatorship, which is the key here, not something you are calling a dictatorship...do you think anyone would allow that? C'mon! Start worrying about reality for a change.

It all depends on the mood of the people when they are
answering or asking questions. We cannot be in the same
mood all the time.

Bush is not a dictator! but Saddam was.
