i am sick and tired of hearing the same thing over and over again. people just giving up on life saying that anyway it doesn't matter how we live our life daily and that we make the most of because the world is going to end, and when i ask why (i recently have been actually told this) is because nation is rising against nation, is in the bible innit... since when for heavens sake have we had a day of peace on hearth??? never!!!! me trying to make him understand all the crap he was talking about was worthless, the fact that you keep contradicting yourself,e.g, says he does not believe in science and dinosaurs, then when asked how come whe have actual proof of dinosaurs he says scientist made the bones because they are clever and deceitful... sorry, but personally such ignorance would deserve a slap. i dont care if people believe in whatever, purple badgers for all i care, but what i do care about is absolute ignorance.wht do u think? does it makes sense to u?

Governments promote this feeling, because a scared and divided nation is an easy nation to rule.

I watched Spiderman 3 in the cinema the other day, and almost every trailor at the start mentioned something about the end of the world- at worlds end, the last chance, the only hope, etc. It is pumped into the mainstream on an almost daily basis.

Stop being scared of others and realise we are all in this together. Peace is the only way that the world isn't going to destroy itself, and it is the masses who have to realise this, as it is the masses who have the power to stop it, and when we realise this it will be our duty to stop the evil governments who play off of peoples fears and who divide us.

Note- If there was a full-scale nuclear war, or if a massive meteor hit then yes indeed we could all be dead tomorrow. I pray that neither of these things will happen though.

The world will definitely end...when the sun blows up. But I think it will be another 5 billion years before that happens. The whole thing about the dinosaurs is retarded and I can't believe people actually believe that crap. There's some creationist museum in Kentucky that is trying to say that the dinosaurs were on the ark with Noah...like they didn't kill everybody on the boat. Anyway, I don't understand why people don't realize that evolution and all the things we have discovered are just science explaining how God did what he did. Genesis was written by people who thought the earth was flat. It's MYTHOLOGY. (People trying to explain that which they know nothing about). The fact that it isn't true doesn't mean God doesn't exist.

As for the end of the world, it's just a tool some denominations of Christianity use to motivate people to go to church and behave. Same thing as the threat of hell if you suddenly die tomorrow. I imagine God is laughing at us and shaking His head.

Christianity has been perverted by the Roman-Pagan control network from day one. This is why Christians argue over things that really don't matter in the end and push really dumb ideas like Creationism that will have no bearing on their salvation. It is without question being used as a tool to lead people AWAY from God.

As for everyday life...you MUST live it to the fullest and do as much good for those around you as you possibly can. You MUST have more regard for your neighbor than you have for yourself.

Take a look around with open eyes for indeed the end is near...HOWEVER that is not a reason to give up...rather it is a reason to dig in and try to make this world a better place in any way you can.

unhappy, yet yeah it particularly is like Suicidal mentioned...i will't cope with distinctive viewings of unhappy movies so i'm going to bypass decrease back to ones that make me satisfied. If I have been you i might write a satire. those for me, in my opinion, continually have some form of effect on me. a gloomy comedy according to hazard? something that's humorous yet scarily unhappy on an identical time (think of: Dr. Strangelove). because of the fact, properly...the flaws that scare us the main finally end up being the funniest. BQ: Shawshank or Amelie BQ2: Grave of Fireflies or Pan's Labyrinth

pixie-star,

The end of the earth most likely will not come for many, many years. To me, it DOES matter how I live my daily life. I agree that there are wars and rumors of wars, but I do have hope in the future.

My hope comes in knowing REALITY and making sense of it. I also think it is a good idea to allow others to believe what they want to and basically "live and let live." This way, we can be happy no matter whether we agree with others in their views or not.

I feel grounded much by what I have read in a non-sensical book explaining reality versus organized religion and fantasized explanations of the future. It has changed my perspective a lot. It explains the truth of our existence, and gets rid of all the nonsense that people who fear the future have been taught.

It teaches reality about science and technology and the condition of man and the earth and most importantly, what can be done about it. It has changed my life.

I loved the so-called deceitful reasons to create dinosaur bones. Someone earnestly asked here the other day, "Did Noah take dinosaurs on the Ark, and if not, why not"
It amazes me how far christians will go to support their beliefs that there is some creative being overseeing the whole shebang.

child of man or GOD.
christians had pREACH wrong about this..for years..the approach was wrong..GOD send JESUS to save..not condemned.
this THE END IS NEAR..is fruitile to wsuch a person.
to us, christian..the end is near.tell us..tell others about GOD forgivenss..and peace and goodwill He has toward the children of MEN..I am a child of GOD..I was a child of man..since new spiritual birth..i am not a child of GOD..
i am dead to sin (romans 6) and buried with christ and seated with Christ..spiritually.
NOW another side is this..NOT EVERYBODY WILL BE SAVED..before CHRIST come in the cloud. there is a parable of 10 virgin (pure heart) of the bride...only 5 was truly ready..for Christ coming..5 were not.
so either you..or others..they are the 5 who were NOT ready.
JESUS didn't not stop every jew and ARGUE with them..HE left them alone..my sheep HEAR MY VOICE..so maybe YOU don't or another person DON't..we or you..should just move on..it is their LIFE..and it is NOT their TIME..to listen..humlity need to come first..to have a humble soft/ground of soil to listen..to truth..that can set/deliver them. arguing is sinful..it the like of pride vs pride..GOD said to me..in year 2000..let them have the rights to be WRONG.

People see things not going their way and they get scared (my guess). It's all an escape fantasy, a way to feel better.
