The Abrahamic (Judaic, Islamic, Christian) deity, according to many people on Y!A doesn't manifest himself physically to ask people to follow him, but expects people to take the words of other mere mortals about why he should be followed....

According to some of the same people, Satan, on the other hand, can take you over for playing with a Ouija Board, asking questions about other faiths and Trick or Treating on Halloween.

I don't believe in either of these Abrahamic deities, but it seems to me that Satan is far more powerful than his opposite number in the Abrahamic pantheon.

Why aren't people who believe in Abrahamic mythology worshipping the more powerful god, not the less powerful one?

Judaism doesn't believe in Satan like the Christians do.. (I have no idea what the Musilims believe) but I will say that yes, the way Christians talk about Satan they make him out to be more powerful..... I find that really sad.

Who is the more powerful? If one accepts the usual traditional stories and/or legends, it is God who created Satan or the Devil or the Fallen Angel. The creature, logically, cannot be greater than its creator. And, God, too, in the traditional teachings gives aid and helps those who are beset by the devil's temptations -- through God's grace, angel-messengers and guardian angels. Putting it all together, who is more powerful? It seems rather obvious that God is, but human beings have the power of their own free will to reject God and goodness and choose the opposites.

dah, according to evolution If Satan was as powerful as you say--Why did he not defeat God and stay in Heaven--then you could complain about goodness on the earth--and look forward to heaven. What happened to you Logically proof need mind?

The only God has everlasting life and the promise of forgiveness and love and salvation. The only God is not satan. Satan wishes he was the powerful one.
