I believe that God created the heavens and the earth.

I do not believe in the unprovable hypothosis of evolution.

I refuse to believe that man was is an evolution of an ape.

I do not believe that the world was created by accident .

It takes more faith to believe that the universe is the result of a cosmic accident, That something came from nothing, the earth came into being by dust particles that just happen to find the right place around the right kind of star and then spontaneously produced out of nothing an atmosphere that would support life then spontaineously from unlife came life, again something from nothing, then for some reason this perfect life form for its world decided to start mutating into differant life forms (why not 'evolve' toward a common goal, some into plants some into animals and some for no apparent reason just stayed the way they were.

The odds of anyone of these events actually happening is 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000 to 1 or 1 in 10 to the fortieth power. Which is like a tornado hitting a junkyard and a fully operational 747 being the result.

To believe in that truly takes more faith than I can muster.

So I believe that God Created all things.

You can't use the Bible to support evolution, or use evolution to support the Bible. Evolution is a religion - yes, a religion - that requires death in order for a species to get "better" and survive. The Bible states that the world was perfect, but then made brought sin and death into the world. We humans and the planet itself have been getting worse, not better - just look at how long we used to live after the Fall (800-900 years), compared to now (70-80 years). The genealogies given from Adam to Christ add up to only around 4,000 years; you can do the math yourself. But evolution requires millions of years. EDIT: Yes, you are right, Stacey. Death occurred after Adam and Eve sinned. There is no way any Christian who knows the Word could believe in evolution AND the Bible. When I was less spiritually mature, and did not know the Bible as much as I do now (not that I know the Bible as well as I would like to now), I used to think that maybe evolution could co-exist with the Christian faith. But it simply can't. One or the other must be true- and since the Bible is ABSOLUTE Truth (versus evolution, which, if it is science, must be relative and subject to change, as per the definition of "science"). I hope I have answered your fairly loaded question :D

It is really astonishing to know some of men don't believe in God and want to honor monkeys as their great grand fathers. Don't we see finger prints of God on every atom that He created. Didn't God give us enough brain to recognize a Creator behind all His beautiful and wonderful creation. I think some close their both eyes and listen to the scientists who were not witness of their own creation.

You said from an ape, and someone last night was saying that it wasn't an ape, just an ape-like creature. Do you see a problem here? You guys can't even agree on which part of your religion is true!

I think that it's possible for Evolution to be true, but I wouldn't bet my soul on it. Proof would be good.

I belive in both. I believe God created us, and I believe evolution exists. I went to Science class, and I've seen my share of proof that organisms evolve. I believe to see, not see to believe, so I really don't have an answer to you as to any proof that I did not evolve from an ape.

Oh, I believe that God created aliens and the flying sphaghetti monster that implant cancers. I think that's more credible than just believing that withihn a blink of an eye everything popped into existence. Also God made a tie and suit for Adam on the second day

And there are those of us who do not understand how evolution somehow invalidates a belief in God.

Neither. I collected enough coupons and they sent it to me in the mail with really dodgy assembly instructions so sorry about how things are.

The truth never depends on what a person believes or does not believe.
