find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I am currently losing weight. To do so healthily, you need to go slow. I have changed my eating habbits to just include home made foods that are not greasy. I have also picked up some walking, taking my dog out three times a day on 20-30 minute walks. We both enjoy it very much. In the past month, I have lost 20 lbs that will likely not come back if I keep with this and slowly eat less and less at each meal. I don't feel tired all the time, I don't always feel hungry, I don't feel uncomfortable at all... in fact, I feel better every day. I find it easier to go to sleep and to get up in the morning.

Turn off the computer, go play outside and eat healthy food.
If you are concerned about your weight for health reasons consult your family doctor. If you want to loose 5 lbs. so a boy talks to you, stop that right now. He's a jerk anyways. I don't even need to know him to know that you'll be happier without him.
You're 15, don't diet now. Don't ever diet. It's a bad idea.

my sister's on a diet too. (same age and such)
grab a notebook and write what u eat everyday
run around the block for 20 mintutes a day
and 1 sweet per week

Go vegetarian. I did and so far I have lost 4 pounds in about 2 weeks!

You shouldn't eat anything after 6:00pm and run around your neighborhood. Run alot. Don't eat junk food. Eat healthy.
