Cookies or bread. When I used to work, I started each morning with baking cookies and then opened the doors, peoples noses led them right to me.

Sugar Cookies with frosting and sprinkles,or just plain soft sugar cookies with plain M&M's in them.
Hot Apple Cider with Cinnamon sticks
Blueberry Pie or Cobbler
Tacos
Steak
Grilled Burgers or Hot Dogs
Turkey
Mashed Potatoes
Homemade Stuffing (Dressing) for my Turkey meal
Homemade muffins such as cherry,blueberry,banana,etc
Homemade Banana Nut Bread
Pumkin Bars with cream cheese frosting
Cinnamon Rolls
I could go on and on and on!! ;-)

We like savory stuff. I cooked a corned beef brisket yesterday all day in the crockpot. The house smelled heavenly and we got so hungry! Or anything with garlic in it.
The Realtor's trick is either a little pan of vanilla or a loaf of fresh baked bread.

my mom used to bake some vanilla in a small pie tin , it would make the house smell like someone was baking. the smell flowed threw house. baking cinammon rolls i think makes the house smell so good.

some items that make the home smell good to me are a freshly baked apple pie, brownies baking, bread baking, apple sauce with cinnamon cooking.

Roast chicken or turkey plus anything with cinnamon or vanilla in it. I'm getting hungry now thinking about a nice roast chicken with cinnamon rolls for dessert.

i make these chocolate-chocolate chip cookies, and the smell of them baking is to die for! also, my family sometimes makes pizzas from scratch, and all the melty cheese and toppings and baking dough smells awesome! plus just about anything at thanksgiving... darn! now you're making me hungry!
