my friends 5 year old son ate a 9 pound watermelon is that normal

My mom works with preschoolers (4-5 yrs) and I have to say that sounds like a lot of food for a five-year-old to eat, with the smaller sizes of their stomachs... but I guess if he's not sick it didn't hurt him. I wouldn't say that's a normal amount of food for a little kid to eat, and I would hope it was a one-time event (that's a lot of food) and that he was just really hungry or something. At least it wasn't nine lbs worth of donuts.

no, it isnt. watermelon is good but overeating any food is bad. stomack streches when you eat big portions which means - you will be hungry soon after eating and you will not feel full unless eat big amount of food. also its too much pressure on your intestines.
