There are tons of p2p programs, limewire and bearshare are the bottom rung of the ladder. Virus distributers know this too and I know they target that market. The harder the program, the more likely it will appeal to a more knowledgable audience and the less likely that a distributer will target you. There is a saying, you dont Pi$$ in your own pool.

From my experience i can say that Bearshare is a very good and safe program to use.I got some of the rarest of stuff which i couldnt get from other P2P programs!
