"How did it happen?"...i mean that is very rude...How.would i know? I was not there! ..I j iust say..."I do not know...and they look at me weird..."...sometimes i will say..."I do not know, i wasn't there.."...and walk away..."Do they get it? or not???"SHOULD I TELL THEM THEY ASKED A RUDE QUESTION????

People are naturally curious. They want to know if there is any chance that it will happen to them. I don't think it's rude, but if you do just tell them you don't wish to discuss it.

sometimes it's because they're nosey. Other times they just try to understand. It gives them a way to put closure on it. You don't have to go into details. My brother died in a motorcycle accident. People asked how it happened. I told them. It helped some of them relate to something similar happen to a person they knew and they could empathise with me. Perfect strangers asking the question are not entitled to anything and it would be alright to say that you don't want to talk about it.
