DEFINATELY NOT one or the other but not both at the same time you will be drawing 2200 mA from a 1200 mA source you are going to blow fuse in the adapter for sure and if it doesnt blow it will get hot fast and could end up melting the insulation and could even result in a fire. Fire is unlikely in this low of a current but fuse blowing and some smoke will more than likely result running both items plugged in at the same time However the risk of fire is higher if you are a smoker since most cars lighters are in or right near the ashtray the chance of the cord dangling over butts in the tray as it heats up and melts the insultion on the wire could ignite a butt and cause a fire. I would strongly advise you NOT to proceed for your safety the safest bet is to buy a universal cigarette lighter adapter and a y adapter for the cigarette lighter Wal Mart carries both Good luck and be careful

If you plan on using one adapter which supplies 1200mA to power both items, one of which is 1200mA the other being 1000mA it won't work because together they are drawing 2200mA which exceeds the limits of the supply and the thing WILL burn out. If you plan on just using the supply to power power the LCD alone it will work. It can produce a maximum of 1200mA but if the unit does not require it, it will not force it into the LCD.

Each one, by itself will work, but if you want both of them to work at the same time you need a source that gives you 1200+1000=2200 mA
