To obtain Qualifications.
Qualifications are used to decide who gets what job - and eventually who gets a chance to be higher paid and who spends their life in poverty.
These days you need AT LEAST a Degree from University to stand ANY REAL CHANCE AT ALL to be 'higher paid' ...
