Anyway all atheist, agnostics and satanist come together and let us come up with some "new testimony" as to how we are all heathens.
The bashing here has become somewhat tedious and boring...so confess your sins....and lets give them something more exciting to talk about.

Josiah, i'm neither a "fundie" nor a Catholic, yet as a Lutheran, i will answer a minimum of a few of your questions: our church (Missouri Synod) does partake of communion a week, besides the undeniable fact that, some Lutheran church homes do no longer; we do not have "altar calls" (that's for evangelical church homes, i think of); I have not got any theory what "being slain interior the spirit" is--lower back, it might desire to be a fundamentalist perception; interior the e book of Acts, early Christians worshipped on the 1st day of the week (Sunday) as adversarial to the Jewish custom of Sabbath (Saturday); the instructions for beginning any church could come from Christ via examples interior the Scriptures, no longer any human (bishop or otherwise); and we do have faith in water baptism. Well firstly they have to realise how contradictory and nonesensical their doctrine really is, its all about brainwashing, and their Sunday school preachers do a pretty good job of brainwashing them with their own interpretations of the BIble.
When you are fed this superstitious mumbo Jumbo at an early age, then its hard to break the cycle in later life.
I think it should be a crime to teach anyone religion of any sort, under the age of 18.

The problem is many 'Christians' in the USA have not 'cleaned up' their act presently, so in effect, they could be in the same boat as the atheist, agnostics, and even satanists. (Even the devil and his followers believe in God; James 2:19).
