I also watched that last night. You should read the book also. It was published probably 25 years ago and tells a very graphic story of the way we treated the native Americans. An extremely shameful time in American history. Was is interesting is that the Sioux claim to the Black HIlls has never been resolved. The Supreme Court ruled in their favor but would not restore the land to native control. Instead the Supreme Court ruled that the US government owed the Sioux $600 million dollars. Money the Sioux have never claimed since doing so would forfeit their claim to the land.

It's a pretty depressing book too. I never saw the movie but I lived out there as a kid (Nebraska, Wyoming). It's...depressing to see the land given (ha, given!) to the Indians to call their own. Sometimes might does make right. Or at least it makes landowners. Come to think of it, that really is all that happened there. Land that had never been covered by deeds was put under deed. Sure, the Indians didn't need that and hence didn't have it but Europeans did and would, even if the Indians didn't want to play along.
But cheer up, we can always do better with Darfur!
And on a much, much lighter note I saw Stranger than Fiction which I laughed at and found to be a very uplifting film.

I saw Spiderman 3 a couple of weeks ago. I saw Meet the Robinsons the other night with my brother and his family. I liked them both. I'm going to see Pirates 3 soon.
I haven't seen the Wounded Knee movie.

I just watched "Day of Wrath". It takes place during the Spanish Inquisition. It was quite bloody but very interesting and a neat ending.

in case you walked out of Inception, then there is not any element of chatting with you approximately movies considering you needless to say have not got any flavor in movies... worst action picture i've got considered those days is Grown-Ups... (I guess you enjoyed that action picture)
