And why?

Although both of my parents are gone, I would not have traded them for anyone else. When we were growing up, we did not have a lot of money, but we had a lot of fun.

Niether of my parents were raised in a traditional 2-parent family, but they did a great job of raising 5 children to be caring individuals.

They showed respect and love for each other and gave us all a great example of how marriage is supposed to work.

My parents were not overly strict, but we knew what was expected of us. None of us ever got into serious trouble.

I would keep mine in the way that they made me.

But if i could be the person i am now and choose my parents then I would keep my Mum. She fought tooth and nail for what we have now, i owe her everything and would give my last breath for her. She loves me unconditionaly, she tells me she loves me everyday and hugs me too, me and my sister are her world, just like she is ours

Dad on the other hand...nothing but a let down, i know deep down he loves us but he packed up and left when i was 2 to start his new family. i love my half-brothers as if they were true brothers, thats all i can thank him for. I never have or never will forgive him for the times he has let me and my sister down, i have given up that fight, i understand its his problem not mine.

No, I would not. We were given everything we need physically but I was not loved, hugged, they were not there emotionally. Even now, they lecture about everything. We cannot have a conversation without my mom bringing up at least 3 things I am not doing right. Never anything about what I am doing correct. Never any support when things go bad. Then (when I was growing up) or now.

No. They did not love or appreciate us, we were never hugged or loved. They have nothing to do with us to this day, they blamed us because they had us...like we could help it??? They just want from us but they never gave anything back. I always considered my grandparents as my parents, they loved me unconditionally.

Yes I would keep the ones I had. The raised 15 kids and all of us are doing well. They instilled the values I live by and always were there when we needed them. I miss them everyday.
