Ok i have 3 weeks until i go to hawaii and i'm wanting to drop some weight so i was thinking i would go to the gym in the morning and do like a lifting class, and maybe the tredmill, or elipitcal. and then go at night and do a spin class and a yoga class is this too much? i will also watch what i'm eating.

yes, its too much. if you spend over 2 hours -its already too much. i used to be so addicted to exercising...then i started to look at the time and if i had been there for 2 hours no matter what i was doing at the moment i had to tell myself- thats it, time to get out of here.
you really hurt your body when exercising hard for many hours and its not gona help you lose weight.

No, it's not too long.

But it's also about working smart not hard!

You can do twice per day for 2 hours.
Do cardio exercises for at least 1 hour first without a pause. This is crucial for your body to start burning fat. Then you can make a little pause for couple of minutes and you can start lifting weights... When you are done lifting you can do 20-30 min cardio again.

This ain't easy! Hope you know it takes some effort. And if you are not used to this much exercise I advice you start slow. Don't over-train yourself, you will just exhaust your body and you will lose motivation...

Drink a lot of water to keep yourself hydrated.

Also you can add some good weight loss pills combined with the exercises you would achieve great results:

I specially recommend lyse or yerba because they naturally assist your body to burn more fat. They are great add to workout routine you mentioned...

You should start today, don't wait for tomorrow! Yes it's great plan but only if you stick to it...

Oh and remember to rest every few days... Your body needs rest, muscles need to regenerate... Don't overtrain :D

Good Luck!

If this is what you're used to, no prob.

If you're out of shape, or your workouts have been something like 1/2 hour on the elliptical 3 times a week, your body will let you know the morning after you try it the first time that its too much.

Daily..........yes.

Every once in a while..................no.

You can still go daily but I don't think your body nor energy level is at where you can do 4 hours per day.

Why did you decide to wait until the final moment to lose weight. Anyway, very important to watch what you eat because you can go to the gym all day and not lose anything if your eating high carb foods like bread, pasta, cereal, etc.

Best of luck !

The combo or weight lifting and cardio exercise is a good one. just be careful to pay attention to your body and don't overdo it. You're supposed to give your muscles a day off between weight lifting, so vary the routines so that one day you do lower body, and another you do the upper body. I would also try to vary the cardio routine, so that you maximize your time there. Good luck and have fun in hawaii!

Make sure to drink lot of water, and take breaks when working out. 4 hours straight is very tough on your body, so I would recommend doing only 2 hours.

Good luck!

good luck with that. I work out for about 60-90 minutes a day and I can't even imagine adding 3 more hours.

2 hours a day is really enough
make sure you take a break every half hour as to not wear yourself out

eat a good meal and dont skip any meals or you wont do any good for your body
