Go to the local guitar shop. If they don't give lessons there, then they will know who to recommend.

Just look in the phone book, most towns, and city's have music stores where you can get lessons. Some collages have classical guitar students that give lessons in your home, if your interested in that call your local collage. Good luck, great instrument to learn

Check music stores and colleges. Music stores usually have spaces to give lessons and since instructors rent out the space from the store, they're likely to have a comprehensive list. There are also most likely bulletin boards at stores and colleges with advertisements for lessons. Some colleges have music academies for younger students. I would say a music store or academy would be the better of the choices.

Two years ago I had dropped off some of my business cards as a guitar instructor where I get my hair cut--a beauty salon. A few months ago a woman called and asked if I still teach guitar. She had dropped my card in the bottom of her purse and found it recently.
Consequently, I have now acquired a new 11 year-old student who is enjoying one-on-one instruction.
I realize this doesn't answer your question sufficiently, but you might check for business cards at the establishments you visit.

You could look up music lessons in the phone book and just call and see when guitar lessons will be offered.
