I believe in Jesus Christ. He is the son of God, not God..I take it you were "taught" this...father, son & holy spirit? I find that interesting the people that truly believe in this because that is what the priests taught you...if I taught you as an infant that a rock was a piece of gold, you would grow up believing that whole heartedly...but if you opened your eyes & did your own research instead of believing a man, instead of the bible, you would know that God is our heavenly father...he created his son Jesus Christ who helped God create the universe, & the holy spirit is Gods active force...they are not one, or all wrapped up in one as many believe..."Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world." 1John 4:1

How many people know that Jesus' last name isn't Christ?
Christ is a title, like king, not a name.
Technically he should be called Jesus The Christ.
Christ Consciousness is something that can obtained by anyone, like Nirvana. It is a higher consciousness, more enlightened.
Unfortunately too many people who believe in Jesus forget about the Christ Consciousness part and instead of learning to live within a higher consciousness, they choose to project their own restrictions, their own prejudices onto him.

I believe he was a living man, yes. But I do not believe he is the son of God or any leader of my religion. What proof is there that Jesus is the "son of God"? And that he was resurrected? None. Absolutely none.
