Some people use Hydroxycut. It should give you more energy, but it's expensive.

Maybe you should work to find the root of the problem, which is most likely gonna be sleep. If you're not getting enough sleep, try to get to bed earlier and more consistently at the same time. Getting a balanced breakfast with some coffee in the morning is a great way to start your day, and I know you said energy drinks don't work for you, but a Red Bull (or 2 if you're a fairly big guy) can keep you feeling good as new for 4-5 hours if you're still tired.

What is bad about most energy drinks is that they have a lot of caffeine and sugar contained in them. This is what gives you a "buzz" and then a "crash". This can be bad on your body. The caffeine in coffee may be what your particular problem may be.

If you are concerned about your health, you may want to consider an alternative. I drink an energy drink that is HEALTHY, works in minutes, lasts for several hours, and is much less expensive than most energy drinks.

i probably will suggest an odd approach but it helps a lot of people. Many people have sleeping disorders you may sleep a full 8 hours but still not get any energy from it at all. There are seven levels of sleep, the first few levels give no energy at all. The 6th level is dreams and the 7th level is when u sleep so deep you cant even dream. sleep apnea(i believe is the correct term) keeps you on the first few levels. There are places you can go that will have you stave over night and they'll take readings while you sleep and determine if this is whats affecting you.

Skip anything with caffeine. While it seems you get a kick from it at first, you will be let down soon. Try drinking Propel Fitness Water or just plain water. Your body will love it and appreciate being hydrated. Energy is kind of a mental thing. If you think you have lots of energy, you will have lots of energy.

Go To the health food store and buy something called Emergen C Its is a packet that looks like a pack of KoolAid. Many places sell it by the packet for like 65 cents. It comes in different flavors. It does not have caffeine in it. It is all our electrolytes, and vitamins, in a boosted dose and I swear to you Its like rocket fuel. It will really pick you up. And unlike coffee and energy drinks, Its good for you. Read the directions on how to take it and follow them. They say to sip it slowly, and put in I think like 4 or 6 ounces of water. I couldn't live without this stuff. I like to take one in the proper amount of water, then pour one into a large bottle of water to drink throughout the day.
I know you will love this stuff!
Good Luck

The first and best way to burn fat is to modify your current diet. There are three simple ways
you can begin to modify: reduce calories, reduce sodium, and reduce fat. For example, by substituting a glass of
water for a carbonated beverage, you can cut approximately 150 calories or more, depending on how much is consumed.
Even if it were fruit juice instead of water, you would still reduce calories by approximately 50 - 100..
what causes these unwanted gains in weight and bodyfat? There are three possible reasons this can happen:
(1) Eat late at night (2) Exceed your normal caloric intake (3) Lack of exercise or physical activity.
best way to speed up the metabolism is by increasing meal frequency. Instead of eating 2 - 3
meals per day, try eating 4 - 5 small meals per day, or 3 meals and 2 healthy snack meals.

a good source of energy is vitamin B_12. I take 1000 mg daily in a melt in your mouth tablet. Any B_12 taken in pill form is destroyed by stomach acid, so use a melt in your mouth product, that way it is absorbed directly into the blood stream.
