ok ...i'm 6ft tall and am fed up with hunching over i want to buy a new stroller that won't make my back feel like it's going to break . i have heard of the maclaren line being taller than most but don't want to spend 100+ dollars on a stroller (i'm a cheapskate) any others out there that come close? or should i just open the coin purse and shell out the cash ?

A good stroller is going to cost a nice chunk. Cheap strollers are cheap because people just dont work them as much as others.

I bought a Maclaren Triump about 2 years ago and its the best stroller Ive ever had. You really should just buy the Maclaren. If you plan to only use it for one child it has great resell value and you wont be sorry. My husband is 6 foot 1 which is the reason I went for the Mac stroller. I refused to let him be one of those dads that have to hunch over to push their child. Most of my friends are amazed and how well it pushes (you can push with one hand) and how small and light it is. I love the strap that comes with it because when my daughter was getting to be quite independent I could let her walk and fold up the stroller and hang it on my shoulder.

Target carries Maclaren Volos which is one step down from the one I have. I would definitely buy it if I didnt already have the one I own. The great thing about the Volo is that it goes up to 55lbs and is 99$.

The Target page says $129 but in store its $99.

Edit: I had a Graco Metrolite like the above poster said but its so much bulkier and heavier. I went from my Graco that i used for a year to the Maclaren stroller.

I love my Graco Metrolite Stroller! It has an adjustable handle that can be raised or lowered depending on the height. I'm 5'9" and my husband is 6'2" and we have no problems! I believe we paid around $140 for it (a year ago), but it is so worth it. It has all of the benefits of a full-size stroller (huge basket underneath, parent and child cupholders, child try, fully reclining seat, etc.) and it only weighs 17 lbs. Plus it's also really easy to fold! You can check out Yahoo! Shopping and type in the name to see the online dealers with the best prices. Most places offer free shipping on stollers. I know Babies R' Us carries them too.

A good stroller is going to cost $$$.$$ and then some. However, my Peg Perego has handles that extend. My husband is also 6 feet and when he pushes our daughter we extend the handles, I put them down when my 5 foot 2 inch frame walks her.(We also like the way this one folds ..more like an umbrella stroller, it is a full stroller, leaving us lots of room in our vehicles for other items) We also like the colors that the Peg came in and it has a nice handle to lift it in and out of the car with...very light only 16 lbs. you can get them at babies r us and I attached the web site for you to look at. We have found it well worth the investment. Good luck

My husband is over 6' additionally and we in no way did discover a stroller that greater healthful him nicely. The distributors for babies which you connect with the lower back of your motorcycles frequently comprise a bar so which you are able to use it as a stroller besides. those have been superb for my husband, yet they're huge for huge-unfold use. you additionally can prefer attempt a splash one sling.

I'd go ahead and buy the maclaren, because you want something that is comfortable and good for your child. You also want something that you can push for a while and not have a back ache.
